Outline of method

The suspension concentrate is allowed to stand for a definite time and the amount remaining in the container after a standardized pouring procedure is determined. The container is rinsed and the amount then remaining is determined.

Scope

The method is suitable for quality control and during development of formulations. It may also be satisfactory for users who wish to compare formulations, provided it is realised that sampling and storage conditions for all samples must be identical.
