Outline of method

A known quantity of the capsule suspension is transferred to a glass bottle and is then subjected to a rolling movement with a specified amount of a hexane- ethanol mixture with an internal standard. After rolling for three specified periods the concentrations of lambda-cyhalothrin in the hexane-ethanol layer are determined.

Scope

This method is intended for use only with lambda-cyhalothrin CS formulations for public health applications.
