Ouline of method

a) Transfluthrin is determined by gas chromatography with internal standardisation and flame ionisation detection.

b) Enantiomeric purity: The stereoisomers of transfluthrin are separated by chiral capillary gas chromatography using flame ionisation detection and the isomer 1S-trans isomer fraction is determined.

Scope

a) The method is usable for TC and VL formulation.

b) The method is intended for the determination of the isomer ratio of the enantiomers of transfluthrin in technical active ingredient.
