03.11.2011: Urgent information for the CIPAC meeting 2012 in Dublin

Dear colleagues,
Due to the fact that the beginning of June is a quite busy time period concerning events, the hotels in Dublin are two to three times "overbooked". Therefore the host and CIPAC, respectively, are not in the best position for any kind of negotiation.
Consequently, it was not possible to make the arrangements in a similar way as in previous years. Sorry for that but it is not in the hands of the host and CIPAC.
Please accept my apology for any inconvenience caused by this unusual procedure.

17.04.2011: The datagap on the decision 2010 is now filled. Provisonally files with the proposed and by CIPAC accepted modifications of the MT-methods MT 41.1, MT 172.1 and MT 193 are now available and here downloadable:

17.04.2011: The review of the MT methods has been finalised being aware that the review of MT methods is a continuous process. The results are summarised can be seen and downloaded here. CIPAC would like to express its thankfulness to all colleagues and organisations that have made contributions to the review. In particular, CIPAC would like to thank Dr Thomas Kröhl for his work over the last years within the DAPF. "His" MT table was the basis for the review and has facilitate the process considerable.

14.02.2011: The main documents for the 8th Joint CIPAC/FAO/WHO Open Meeting, the 10th FAO/WHO Joint Meeting on Pesticide Specifications (JMPS) and 55th-CIPAC-Meeting in Beijing, China , are now available (invitation, registration form, excursion, information about China). Please register for the meetings till 30 April 2011 (hotel registration by 10.05.2011). The date of the meetings are 8 - 16 June 2011. For further information and the available documents click here.

05.02.2011: Updated CIPAC Code Numbers

The committee of Management of CIPAC has accepted a request from the EU Commission General Department ESTAT (EUROSTAT) to use the CIPAC numbers for a database that will be generated by EUROSTAT in the context on the implementing regulation on pesticide statistics. For this database a distinct numbering system is needed and it was decided to use the CIPAC number. As a consequence CIPAC numbers are and will be allocated to substances where it is unlikely that CIPAC trials will be conducted.

As the CIPAC review process has reached Handbook F, it was decided to review not only the MT methods that are published in Handbook F, but also the ones that are published in later Handbooks.
