TECHNICAL CONCENTRATES

OUTLINE OF METHOD

The six pyrethrum components, the endo- and exo isomers of N-(2-ethylhexyl)-8,9,10-trinorborn-5-ene-2,3-dicarboxamide and piperonyl butoxide are determined by capillary gas chromatography using flame ionisation detection and two internal standards

SCOPE:

The method is suitable for the determination of pyrethrins, MGK 264 and piperonyl butoxide in technical materials and technical concentrates containing the compounds mentioned as the only active ingredient, or as a mixture.

The method is usable for TK and AL-formulations.
