ETHEPHON

OUTLINE OF METHOD

The sample is neutralised to pH 9.3 to form the ethephon disodium salt, which is decomposed to ethene and sodium dihydrogen phosphate on heating. Sodium dihydrogen phosphate is determined by acidimetry.


SCOPE:

The method is usable for TK and SL-formulations.
