MECOPROP-P

OUTLINE OF METHOD

Mecoprop-P is dissolved in acetonitrile-water and chromatographed on a HPLC reversed phase system with acetonitrilewater acetic acid as mobile phase using UV-detection at 220 nm and external standardisation.
The enantiomeric ratio is determined after esterification by chromatography on a chiral phase using n-heptane-n-pentanol as mobile phase and UV-detection at 229 nm.

SCOPE:

The method is usable for TC, WP and SL formulations.
