DICHLORPROP-P

OUTLINE OF METHOD

Dichlorprop-P is dissolved in acetonitrile-water and chromatographed on a HPLC reversed phase system with acetonitrile-water-0.5 M sulphuric acid as mobile phase using UV-detection at 220 nm and external standardisation.

The enantiomeric ratio is determined after esterification by chromatography on achiral stationary phase, using n-heptane-n-pentanol-trifluoroacetic acid as mobile phase and UV-detection at 229 nm.
