FENTIN ACETATE + MANEB WETTABLE POWDERS

OUTLINE OF METHOD

Fentin is extracted from formulations with an internal standard solution containing 1,4-dibromobenzene. The fentin is converted into
fentin chloride and the content is determined by reversed phase ion-pair high performance liquid chromatography with UV-detection.

SCOPE:

The method is applicable to formulations containing fentin as sole active ingredient, as well as to mixtures with mancozeb and maneb.

The method is usable for WP, SC and WG formulations
